Automatic temperature control system in Minerva PET blowers Siepla, a Catalan company selling machinery for the plastics industry, has added to its blowers an automatic temperature control system for preforms. The system, coupled to the PLC, allows a sensor to monitor the temperature of the preform at any time before blowing and maintaining the PLC computer by keeping it constant.
Thanks to this innovation, the preform blowing is completely protected from the climatic variations in the factory as well as the speed changes in the blowing line. Although many PET preform blowers have temperature control, the most common is that they control the voltage of the infrared lamps. In Minerva blowing machines, this control will be much wider since it will run through the controller and with a state-of-the-art Infrared (IR) sensor.
With this new system, we can guarantee a perfect blowing, with a very accessible investment, declares Juan Puig, director of the company.

The Minerva Series PET Preform Blowers are recommended for medium-sized productions with a wide variety of applications. Minerva produces containers of 0.1 to 20 liters, in one, two, four or six stations, as well as containers with wide opening.
